Half Yard Productions and Bravo Premiere of the 'Real Housewives of D.C.'
Big Noise PR serves as the agency for Half Yard Productions, the entertainment production company behind the 'Real Housewives of D.C.' series. With the tremendous media scrutiny surrounding the series prior to its premiere, there was much anticipation about the first episode. Big Noise PR introduced the series to D.C.-based and national media and influencers with an invitation-only screening with the entire cast and their families at a hotel featured in the show. From the branding and event planning and execution to the media relations and the on-site staffing, Big Noise PR handled every aspect of the event to great success. Media coverage included The Washington Post, NBC’s Today Show, Associated Press, Huffington Post and Fox News, as well as numerous photo placements from the event.

Science Channel Launch of New Kid-Centric Series, 'Head Rush'
As part of President Obama’s STEM (Science, Math, Engineering and Technology) initiative, Science Channel introduced 'Head Rush', a new commercial-free series targeted at middle-school kids to get them excited about science. Big Noise PR introduced the new series to national consumer and trade press to rave reviews, with coverage in outlets such as Rosie Radio, NPR, Wired, Multichannel News and Yahoo! News.

Discovery Channel’s 'MythBusters' Going Strong
After eight years on the air, Discovery’s popular series 'MythBusters' is still a fan favorite. Big Noise PR handles all San Francisco-based publicity for the show, crafting feature pitches, developing stunt ideas, handling media training and drafting press materials, as well as working with the cast and crew to accommodate media relations, photo shoots and set visits. Most recently promoted series include a special episode featuring President Obama and an entire episode dedicated to the Green Hornet with Seth Rogen. Press coverage for the series includes NPR, Los Angeles Times, Popular Mechanics and Emmy Magazine.

Netflix and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and
Sciences Partnership

Big Noise PR introduced and executed a partnership between the online DVD rental company and the Academy for a Netflix Academy Awards Survey. The promotion included a real-time survey of Netflix members to poll their Oscar picks, as well as mailer advertising, a micro-site and online promotion. The publicity effort resulted in coverage in over 25 outlets, including The Hollywood Reporter and EW.com.

Planet Green Debuts as First Eco-Entertainment Network
Launching a new network takes a lot of preparation and planning to establish key messaging, talent and programming. Big Noise PR served as the staff point person in San Francisco for talent appearances and media visits during the launch, in addition to developing press and branding materials to disseminate to the media.
